3D in surgery

The display system is a CE-certified medical device for 3D visualisation in the surgery and planning room. The system includes a 20-inch 3D display which acts as a digital hologram, a standard PC and a 2D display. The system has the potential to increase confidence and safety by giving the surgeon the capability to view previously conducted CT- or MRI-scans during the operation in order to confirm or re-assess as the surgery progresses.
