ONGOING MEDICAL PROJECTS
Medical applications for 3D display
Setred and Rikshospitalet run a joint project with the support of Innovation Norway. The objective of the project is to create a number of solutions including Setred’s 3D display in medical applications. The purpose is to provide improvements in terms of increased efficiency and/or quality of care through improved visualisation.
The project started in 2006 and is still running. One study was presented at the European Congress of Radiology in March 2009.
A “Holographic” display test bed for visualisation of digital 3D data from medical applications
Setred has joined a project with the Centre for Medical Image Science and Visualization (CMIV) and Information and Communication Systems (IKS), Mittuniversitetet in Sweden. The project has received support from the Knowledge Foundation. The objective of the project is to create a demonstrator visualisation solution including a 3D display for a selected clinical application. A qualitative test of a selected clinical application will be performed by a number of physicians.
The project started in June 2008.
